Came as a gift for my dad and we both ended up fighting over the last square — the nutty sweetness balances the tart cherry perfectly. Knowing the beans come from a co-op that’s created jobs in a remote area makes it taste even better.

The sour cherry note really comes through at the end, and it’s sweet enough that I don’t need to add sugar. Knowing the cooperative was set up in 2017 and brings jobs to the community makes this feel like a gift that gives twice.

I'm not usually one for fancy cocoa, but this one hits a sweet spot between the nuttiness and the fruity tang that keeps me coming back for another cup. Knowing the beans come from that 2017 cooperative makes it feel a bit more meaningful than my usual supermarket bar.
