Got my box on Thursday the 23rd as promised, and the pastry was still properly crisp even after a day in transit. The flakes shattered just right and the filling was sweet but not cloying, exactly what I wanted for a proper tea break.
I’m still thinking about that flaky, buttery texture days later—each cake was perfectly baked and just the right size for a tea break. The dispatch notice was clear and they confirmed the delivery date with me before sending, which took away any guesswork.
Worth the wait — these pastries were still fresh and flaky when they arrived, and the currant filling was perfectly sweet without being cloying. I’ve already ordered another batch for next month’s dispatch.
