The salt from Halen Môn hits right after the creamy milk chocolate melts, and that rye crumb gives it a toasty, almost bread-like bite I keep craving. It’s rich but not heavy, and the 60% dark milk balances sweet and savory perfectly.
The rye crumb actually holds its crunch all the way to the last bite, which is such a nice contrast to the soft, creamy melt of the 60% dark milk. The sea salt hits at just the right moment, not too sharp, just enough to keep you going back for another square.
The creamy mouthfeel from the dark milk is perfectly balanced by the crunchy rye bits, and that Halen Môn sea salt really makes the cocoa sing. I ended up eating the whole bar in one sitting without meaning to, it’s that moreish.
